This kit requires trimming some metal from the original tailgate to create a precise fit. To assist with the installation, we provide a step-by-step guide and template for perfect cuts.Ā Check your lock barrel typeĀ before purchase to ensure compatibility:
- Remove & Replace: Remove the barrel and use the supplied grommet to close the hole.
- Spare Key Barrel: Alternatively, source a spare key barrel from a wreckers yard.
